How can we think about things that we can't directly see or touch?
How Does the language we speak influence the way we perceive and think about the world?
How do children develop New concepts, and how do those concepts differ across cultures?
what is the relationship between seeing and knowing?
what is time?
The Austin Thought Lab (aka l'Austin Thought Lab), in the Psychology Department and Children's Research Center at The University of Texas at Austin, explores these questions by conducting research studies with children and adults, to see how the way we think about the world changes over time and in response to our environment.
